NU-HEAT Plumbing and Heating was established in February 1983 as a partnership by George and Steve Willis working from home serving Northumberland. George and Steve also landed an ongoing contract for British Alcan Lynemouth who are an aluminium smelter and NU-HEAT looked after the day to day plumbing maintenance.
Shaun Willis joined the company as an apprentice in May 1985 and in 1989 when fully qualified was made an equal partner within the business .The company carried on trading as NU-HEAT partnership until May 2004 when George Willis retired.
Shaun and Steve in June 2004 turned NU-HEAT partnership into a limited company and we are known today as NU-HEAT North East Ltd
NU-HEAT North East Ltd expanded the business by the purchase of a showroom and office .The showroom has a good collection of fireplaces in wood and marble also hang on the wall and inset gas and electric fires. NU-HEAT also display fires and fireplaces at Warmseal Windows Throckley. We decided to name the shop
“ELEGANCE BY NU-HEAT “.
Engineers of NU-HEAT North East Ltd have been fitting heating systems for some fifty five years and are at the forefront of central heating design and quality of installation. NU-HEAT have partnered up with Alpha Heating Innovation to bring to all our customers an exclusive eight year parts and labour warranty on the Alpha CD range of heating appliances. The eight year warranty will be maintained in the unlikely event of an appliance breakdown by Alpha and NU-HEAT who are service agents for the North East of England.
NU-HEAT also design renewable energy systems, Alpha solar systems and gas savers for hot water and the latest flow smart systems.
NU-Heat's engineers are also qualified Corgi (natural gas and LPG gas) and Oftec oil engineers and are qualified part P electricians and unvented hot water storage.
